This design gives a new and higher
profile to the Southwest Community Center as a generator and steward of
neighborhood activity and as a gatherer of the neighborhood’s citizens.
Greenhouses will be interesting additions to the neighborhood architectural
vocabulary and allow for agricultural and horticultural activity to take
place on a year-round basis. The gardens would be evidence of an aesthetically
vibrant working landscape.
